Editorial rules
How a note becomes a guide.
- Answer the actual interruption. The first paragraph resolves the search query before giving background.
- Attach a version and date. Balance, bugs and interface behavior can age overnight.
- Separate fact from recommendation. “Costs ¥40,000” is a claim; “buy it first” is advice and needs criteria.
- Prefer original captures. Third-party tables help research, but final guides should use our own screenshots and explanations.
- Mark uncertainty. Unknown is a valid editorial state. Fabricated precision is not.
- Protect story choices. Spoilers are labelled and disclosed only after the practical repair answer.

Correction log.
A source error is not hidden. Each correction records what changed, why it changed and which pages were affected.
Parts, pieces and screws separated
The canonical record is 15 named part types, 16 physical pieces and 15 screws. The Hinge is physical piece 16; Back Panel uses five screws. Older 15/16 and 16-screw summaries were removed.
Unsupported PlayMachine profit claim removed
The widely repeated ¥36,081 parts total does not survive arithmetic review. The site retains the assembly order and license fee but publishes no “most profitable device” conclusion.
Six named Nexus mods do exist
The delivered research summary incorrectly reported that the named mods could not be found. Their original author pages were verified and linked directly on the Mods page.
The app record exists; access is unresolved
SteamDB still records Demo App 4146680 as released, but the official store URL redirected to the Steam home page during this editorial check. The site therefore claims neither active installation nor permanent removal until a direct store check resolves the conflict.
1.0.010r restored to the timeline
The delivered patch table omitted official build 1.0.010r and relied on a secondary summary for 1.0.011r. The update page now preserves the full launch sequence and prioritizes the official Steam record.
Why some device data is marked reported.
Exact assembly totals come from a named independent guide
The part counts, screw counts and assembly order for eight priority devices have not been independently replayed by ReStory Bench. They remain useful, but are labelled “reported” so players can distinguish them from official notes and original tests.
The site also avoids a “best profit” ranking. Marketplace balance changed in 1.0.013r, so a trustworthy comparison needs a current, repeatable in-game dataset rather than launch-week prices.
A claim returns to review whenever a newer official note or stronger source contradicts it. Corrections record the page, old wording, replacement evidence and affected build in the log above.
